Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo — Buenassa is pleased to announce the formal appointment of Douglas Geniti as Senior Advisor for Global Marketing and Commercial Partnerships. This appointment marks a pivotal step in strengthening Buenassa’s global commercial architecture as it advances its Critical Minerals Industrial Roadmap.
A Legacy of Global Industrial Leadership
Mr. Geniti joins Buenassa with over 35 years of specialized experience in the global metals and refining sectors. His distinguished career includes senior leadership at Sumitomo Corporation of Americas and a formative decade as Head of African Metals Corporation (AMCO), the North American Sales Agency for Gécamines cobalt under Sogem-Afrimet (Umicore). His deep expertise in bridging DRC mineral production with Tier-1 Western and Japanese markets is central to Buenassa’s mission of establishing economic sovereignty.

Reflecting on his appointment, Mr. Geniti stated:

Mandate
Under this mandate, Mr. Geniti will provide high-level counsel to the Founder & CEO to maximize the international "bankability" and commercial positioning of Buenassa’s industrial output. The role focuses on aligning production with the rigorous requirements of global defense and commercial supply chains while facilitating industrial alliances in alignment with the FORGE Initiative.
